This was an incredibly special project for us. The client who commissioned this project was actually a woodworker with a very nice home shop. We were excited about this project because we knew that they would appreciate the high level of difficulty in the details of this build.
There is a 3 way mitered bevel joint where the legs and the top meet. This allowed us to conceal all of the end grain of the piece. That's non woodworker speak for this was really hard even though to the lay person the intersections may look simple.
