Purchasing Details

Curbside Shipping 

Our standard shipping method is Just $1 with the purchase of your furniture.  We will package your item and have it shipped to the curbside of your home.  The process is as follows:

  1. At checkout, select "curbside shipping" as your shipping preference.  Complete the transaction.  
  2. The delivery company will let you know the day it will be delivered and give you a 4 hour delivery window.   
  3. You will be responsible for removing and disposing of packaging and crating, and bringing the furniture into your home.  

White Glove Shipping 

This is available for an additional charge that is based on your location.   Unfortunately, not all locations can be accommodated.    

If selected, the shipping company will move the furniture into the desired room in your home, unpack and set it up for you.  The process is as follows:

  1. At checkout, select "white glove shipping" as your shipping preference.  Your cart total will stay the same, go ahead and complete the transaction.   
  2. After the transaction, Open Door Furniture will contact you with questions about where the furniture will be moved (room, up any stairs, etc).
  3. Open Door Furniture will reach out to our shipping provider, obtain a quote for the service and send it to you.  You will then be responsible to pay them directly.  
  4. After payment, the delivery company will let you know the day it will be delivered and give you a 4 hour delivery window. 

Lead Times

We build to order and our policy is to have furniture shipped to its destination within 6-8 weeks.  We will always let you know up front if our lead times are longer than normal.  If we finish before we will of course send it earlier.


We will honor a return request that is made within 14 days of receiving your furniture.  You will be responsible to pay for shipping and the product must arrive in its original condition.  Returns outside of the 14 day window will be charged a 20% restocking fee and shipping must also be paid by you.  

If the product was damaged in transit, please let us know within 14 days.  Send pictures to and we will work with the shipping company to resolve the claim and send you a replacement.
