This ebonized solid oak dining table will make a stunning impression in any great room.
In addition to the base as a structure for the table, the top is reinforced by recessed pieces of steel c-channel. To account for seasonal wood movement across the horizontal wood planks, we cut grooves all along the base and the stretcher to allow the table to expand and contract with the seasonal changes. These seemingly small but thoughtful design details are what will ensure that our table stays flat and beautiful for generations.
