A table this size usually requires an extra set of legs in the middle to keep it from sagging over time. We chose to address this problem in a different way by thickening up the rails so that the table can stay flat for decades to come without the use of a center leg. We know our client appreciated the sleek, minimal design and extra leg space under their table.
